Chelsea Resident
Passes At His Home
CHELSEA - Philip F. Stoll, 52, died suddenly Monday night at his home at 140 Van Duren St.
He was born Aug. 24, 1903, in Dexter, a son of Philip F. and Helen Sutter Stoll and was married to Marjorie Tompkins on March 23, 1931. She survives.
Since their marriage they have lived in Chelsea. He was employed by the Chelsea Products Co. and later ran a decorating business.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Painters Local 514 in Ann Arbor.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Donald Young of Manchester and Susan at home; a son, Frederick, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Rosina Kraft of Ann Arbor, Mrs. Arthur Stoll of Dexter and Mrs. Lloyd Reubin of Detroit; and a brother, Oscar Harrer of Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at the Staffan Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Toy officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery. The date of the funeral has not been set.
