Edward Grams
Retired Landscape Worker Dies At 89
Edward Grams, 89, of 306 Beakes St., a retired landscape worker who cared for local estates, died this morning at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Grams was born Aug. 1, 1866, in Germany, coming to this country when he was two years old. He lived in Ann Arbor most of his life.
He was married in 1917 to Mrs. Bernice Biddle Cook of Ann Arbor. She preceded him in death on Oct. 23, 1948.
Survivors are a son, Robert L., of Ann Arbor; two daughters, Mrs. William Gaglis of Howell and Mrs. Ida Winn of Northville; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Muehlig Chapel, with the Rev. Ralph B. Piper officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
