The fourth in the Burton Holmes travelogue series sponsored by the University Platform Attractions will be “Bermuda-Nassau" and will be presented at 8:30pm Thursday in Hill Auditorium. The color film will be narrated by Thayer Soule.

Reaching the Bahamas by way of Florida, the picture tour includes a stop at Miami Beach with its fabulous “hotel row” and a drive along the highway “that goes to the sea,” terminating at Key West. Then by plane to Nassau.

Bermuda is about an hour’s flying time from Nassau and differs slightly from Nassau in that the standard of living of the natives seems much higher. Homes are modern and many are truly beautiful. The highlights of the tour of Bermuda include a visit to the first settlement, Old St. George, and stops at the Devil's Hole, the Aquarium, and interesting inns and guest houses.

Tickets for this travelogue as well as for the following one on Spain, March 26, are now on sale at the Hill Auditorium box office. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
