Northfield Township Resident Dies At 63
Mrs. Margaret L. Seyfried, 63, of 561 E. Northfield Church Rd., died Saturday afternoon at the Ann Arbor Convalescent Home after a long illness. She was the wife of Julius R. Seyfried.
Mrs. Seyfried was born on May 1, 1890, in Ann Arbor, a daughter of Mrs. Ottilia Kohlander Betke and the late Julius Betke.
Since her marriage on Feb. 28, 1925, to Mr. Seyfried, she had lived in Northfield township. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor and the Ladies Arbeiter Society.
Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Betke of Ann Arbor; a sister, Mrs. Edward Johnson of Lakeland, Fla.; a brother, Max C. Betke of Ann Arbor; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. E. C. Stellhorn officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
