Parish House Coming Down: The old Zion Lutheran Church's parish house off the northeast corner of E. Washington St. and S. Fifth Ave. in one of two structures being razed to make way for a new, $250,000 Huron Valley National Bank building. Also to be demolished is the adjacent old Zion church topped with a spire that has been a familiar landmark downtown for generations. Stan's Wrecking is doing the razing work, and a spokesman, when aksed the procedure to be used in demolishing the spire, said, "We'll tackle that problem when we get to it."
