Niles, L..co Foco, has been elected Senator in Congress for si years. Thus the whigs have played into thi liands of the Demócrata, and lost the State. Whereas had they supported he Liberty candi dates, the State wnuld have been saved, and been represenied in Congress by an able and upright man. They have shown themselves equally perverse on several occasions, and it is be to hoped they will learn wisdom (rom continued defeats. and no longer throw away their votes, and thus build up the Loco Focos.
