Duellisis. however, like ijamblers. always expect to win. The duellis: goes fonh. each of ihe.e men will po fonh. hopn', inrending and e.xpecting lo kill his antago nist. Suppose he should not - is it any recompense for his injury to get a bullet throurh his heart. But suppose he should - will it make him n happy man to think of his blnody deed - to re cal the appearance of the corpse of his neighbor. slain by bis hand! '; 'Tis the survivor dies."
