In the Señale, June 15, the fihance committea have reported a resolution, callingupon the committee on military afíiiirs to repon as to the epedieney of reducing the army, as proposed by tho House of Representatives. The bül for the a rmed occíiipation of Florida, was passod and sent lo the House of Representatives. In the House, the one hour rule has been adopted, yeas 120, nays 84. This ought to be a permanent rule of the House. The Apportionnient Bill has been the great topic of interest - Te ratio adopted by the Senate of 70.680 waa rejected m the House- yeas 65, nays 1 11. Mr. Adams uséd all his influence for a small ratio. We cut the following from tho Detroit Advertiser: APPORTÍONMENT BILL PASSED. The House of Representatives have afier all, receded fiom their disngreement to the Senate amendments to the apporiionment bill. The vote on receding was 100 to 104 -then on cuncurring with the Senate ratio, (70.680,) yeas, 113. nnys. 103- and then the fractional arnendment wns agreed to, yeas, 1 1 0. nay3 1 02. Thus, 'he opportionment bill is passed, and only waits lor the President'e signature. It gives a Housa of 223 members - three for Michigan, to be elecfed in sincle dis'ricts.
