Mrs. Mary R. Gauss

Mrs. Mary R. Gauss, 85, widow of the late Michael Gauss, died at her home at 309 Packard St., early yesterday morning after an illness of several weeks. She was born March 24, 1851, in Ann Arbor, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Reinhardt, early settlers of Ann Arbor. She had resided her entire life here.
She was a member of Bethlehem church and the Ladies Aid society of the church.
She is survived by two sons, Julius M. of South Bend, Ind., William F. of Pittsburgh; a grandson, William of Pittsburgh; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the chapel. Rev. Theodore R. Schmale will officiate. Interment will be in the Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
