Dr. A. E. Olsen
Dr. A. E. Olsen, 46, died yesterday morning at his home in Observatory Lodge on Washington Hts.
A graduate of the Detroit College of Medicine, he practiced in Detroit from 1926 to 1938, and in Albuquerque, N. M., from 1938 to 1944. In February of 1944, he came to Ann Arbor, and was on the medical staff at the Willow Run bomber plant until last summer. He opened offices on State St. about two months ago.
From 1926 to 1938, Dr. Olsen was the Danish vice-counsel for Michigan and was active in Danish-American activities in Detroit and throughout the state.
He was a member of Players Club, Detroit, and of the Wayne County Medical Society.
Survivors are his wife, his mother, Mrs. Victor Olsen, of Detroit, and one sister, Miss Sophie Olsen, also of Detroit.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock at the A. M. Norton funeral home, 2187 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
