Oakland County Convention
At a meeting at the Court House in PontiaCjCalledfor the purpose of nouiinating candidates for thejtiberty Party at Ihe ensuing Election, Joseph Morrison Esq. was called to tliechair, and A. P. Frotjt was appointed sccretary. On motion, a committee was appointed to prepare an address to the people previous to the Election; committee to consist of Joseph Morrison, Wm. G. Page,and Wm. G. Stome. The above named committee wcre appointed to fill vacancies if any ehould occur. The convenlion then proceeded to the nomination of candidatos, and after an informal ballot, the following named gentlemen wcre unaminously nominatcd.For Reprctenlatives, JESSE TENNEY, of Highland, WLLIAM G.
