Funeral services for Jackson L. Stull, 31, of Hamburg, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Asa Compton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Stull died Wednesday at University Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile wreck Monday.
He was born March 30, 1924, at Colon, Mich., a son of Floyd and Ethel Hackenburg Stull. On Aug. 6, 1955, he was married to Lucille Potoczny of Hamburg. She survives. During World War II, Mr. Stull served with the Army Air Corps, and for the past 3 1/2 years he has been employed by the Alfred A. Smith Construction Co. of Ferndale. He had lived in Washtenaw county until 1950, when he moved to Hamburg. His home was at 10475 Campbell Dr.
Besides his wife, survivors include a step-son, Dennis at home; three step-daughters, Mrs. Michael Grostick of Whitmore Lake, whose husband is in University Hospital with injuries suffered in the same accident, and Nancy and Linda Potoczny, both at home.
Also surviving are his mother of Beatty, Nev.; two brothers, Lewis of Redding, Calif., and Raymond of Reading, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Donald Bidwell and Mrs. Charles Meese, both of Sturgis, Mrs. Pidgeon Pilgrim of Porterville, Calif., and Miss Mary Lee Stull of Beatty; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hackenburg of Colon; and one grandchild.
