The Mich. Times says:"The Democruts, ns a political party, are op pose], and they openly avow it, not ti liberty, notto thn erndication of Southern slaveryj but to the inierposition of JYortkern fanatics." This 'openavowal' otír reaáers wilí remem-' ber. All their eftbrts for the removal ofslavery, whether by moral or politica] means, is an interposilion, to which the Democrats, as a party are opposd. The Times thus coincides with the Washington Globe, that one of the main principies of Demncracy is "Opposition to akohtio.n!" We like their frankness in acknowledgin it.
