Hayden, Charles Lawrence Jr.

Age 47, died Thursday, December 10,
1992 at University Health Care Center
in Livonia following a lengthy illness.
He was born August 2, 1945 in Ann
Arbor, MI the son of the late Charles
L. and Martha L. (Washington) Hay~
den. Mr. Hayden attended Ann Arbor
Public Schools and graduated from
Ypsilanti High School. He attended
Tuskegee Institute and graduated
from the University of Michigan-
Business Administration. For many
1 years he was a buyer for Blooming-
dale’s in Cincinnati, San Francisco
and New York He was later a manager
at Saks Fifth Avenue in Miami until
his health failed. He is survived by one
sister, Selenar (Ernest) Giheath;
brothers Allen (Daisey) McRae and
Harold (Mary) McRae; his stepmoth-
er, Elizabeth (Mama Liz) Hayden;
step-sister Stacey Smith; aunt Cecil
Johnson; and a host of nieces and
nephews. Charles was loved by many
family, friends and business asso-
ciates. He will be missed. Cremation
has taken place. There will be no fu-
neral service. A memorial service will
be held at a later date. These were
Charles’ wishes. In lieu of flowers, me
morial tributes may be made to a
charity of one’s choice. Arrangements
