Mrs. Mary Gallagher

Mrs. Mary Gallagher, 81 of 824 Green St. died early this morning at her home. She was the wife of Hiram E. Gallagher, and was born on May 6, 1862, in Buffalo, N. Y. She has made her home in Ann Arbor for the past 35 years, coming here from Detroit. She is survived by her husband and seven children, Mrs. William Jones of Buffalo, John Prentiss of Ann Arbor, Barney Prentiss and Mrs. Emma Peterson of Buffalo, Patrick Prentiss of Detroit, Mrs. Helen Moran of Ecorse and Mrs. Lillian Williams of Detroit. There are 31 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Staffan funeral home with Rev. John Schurman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Staffan funeral home.
