SALINE - Gottlieb Weller, 64, year-old Bridgewater township farmer, was instantly killed yesterday noon when he broke his neck in a fall from a haystack on the farm operated by himself and his brothers. The Wellers were baling hay at the time.
A lifelong resident of the township, Mr. Weller was born March 15, 1879.
He is survived by two brothers, Fred, who aided him in operation of the farm, and Theodore, Manchester, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Schill, Saline, and Mrs. Anna Knoll, Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Lockwood funeral home in Saline with burial in Oakwood cemetery mausoleum. Rev. C. H. Wittbracht, of St. Paul's Lutheran church, will officiate.
