Mrs. Julia Stockwell

YPSILANTI - Mrs. Julia Stockwell, 78 years old, wife of Arthur Stockwell, 566 Davis St., Ypsilanti, died at 1 o'clock this morning at her home, following a short illness.
She was born Oct. 24, 1865, in Canada, and came to the United States with her parents at the age of two years. On May 5, 1893, she was married to Mr. Stockwell, and the couple celebrated a golden wedding last summer.
Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Case, Detroit; a son, Everett Stockwell, Manchester; one brother, Richard Kirbyson, in California; and a sister, May, in Sarnia, Canada. She also leaves four grandsons, two of whom are in military service, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Geer funeral home here, and burial will be in Highland cemetery.
