Floyd R. Wirth
Ann Arbor Carpenter
Succumbs To Illness
Floyd R. Wirth, 62, of 426 Fifth
St., a carpenter, died Thursday
afternoon in St. Joseph’s Mercy.
Hospital after a long illness.
He was born on Aug.15, 1891,
in York township, a son of Melvin
and Esther Kraft Wirth. He had
lived in Ann Arbor the past 25
years.
He married Louise Seitz of Ann
Arbor on Jan. 19, 1913. She sur-
vives.
A carpenter most of his life, he
had been employed by Kurtz Construction Co.
for the past 10 years.
He was a member of St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church and Local 512 of
the AFL Carpenters and Joiners
Union.
Surviving besides his wife are
two sons, Ralph F. of Ann Arbor
and Melvin H. of Owosso; one
daughter, Ruth L. Wirth of Ann
Arbor; six grandchildren; a broth-
er, Aaron J. Wirth of Ann Arbor;
and a sister, Mrs. Thomas Brad-
shaw of Pleasant Lake.
Funeral services will be held at
2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Mueh1ig
Chapel, with the Rev. Carl A.
Brauer officiating. Burial will be
in Oakwood Cemetery, Saline.;
Friends may call at the chapel.
