Age 76, passed away yesterday at his home following a long illness. Born March 2, 1891 in Saline, the son of Henry and Katherine Werner Seitz, he married Elsie Bernthal of Frankenmuth on June 22, 1929. A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Men's Club of the church and the Lutheran Laymen's League, he had been a shipping clerk for the Eberbach Corporation for 48 years before retiring in 1965. Surviving include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Erwin Hochrein Jr. and two grandsons, Bruce and Brian, all of Dexter; a sister, Mrs. Floyd Wirth of Ann Arbor; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Norbert Mueller officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
