Friends - Wc are addressing to you a series of remarfc?, which we deem it our dutv to urge on al!; ranny of them are more suited lo the doubting, than to the convinced of our principies. Yours is the duty to circuíate them- to take pnins to do so, and wilh them 'o place in the hands of the reading, our valuable organ. Will yCu discharge this duty. - Will you for the coming important year, put your shoulder to the Liberty cause, and heave it aliead vvith all your might, j-ist trying whnt united effort can accotnplish in a sing'e year, and by a'stem resolve. Oh! tliat you would! not one or two, or a hnlf dozen, here and there, but each and every one of yon, ye twcntv one hundrd voters, who have lately recorded your sentiments against slavery. You all have families or friends, or circlcs you represent; the ballot box tells not their number; add thcir eíTorts to your own, and who can predi'ct the resull . Just try it, friends - try it for a single year - a year in which we are to elect a Governor, and send tiiree Representatives to fight for liberty, or to support slavery, in Congress. Let us be fnilhful, for this sniall spacc at any rate, and give our cause its fa:r trial. You are nll aware how imperfect our organization is. We must have an efficiënt and thorough orgonization, even lo towns; every one decires such an orgnnizalion, and the very time to make it is at hand. Our annual meeting will soon assemble from ali parts of the State. Let every county be numerously represented, its delegatos having all local infonnation and stalistics, and the n:irnes of good working men for tovvn committees. Come prepared for business and dohbsration - seek not to hurry il ihrotigh, and slarvenot its benefit, should circumstances requires its prolongation to a third doy- name your delegates in soason, whenyou can, but j let no man sfay away for want of dclegaled aulhority. Jf he is a Liberty man, he carnes with him the best of all crcdcntials, and wi.'l be enti'tlcd to fuil participation in our State Meeting Councils. For the Central Commiitee.
