Recovers Wedding Ring Lost 55 Years: A. J. Kirk of Henzie Rd., Manchester township, is indicating the spot on his farm where he saw something shining the other day and discovered it to be his mother's wedding ring, lost 55 years ago. The initials "M.K. to B.M." (Michael Kirk to Bridget Malloy) on the inside of the gold band were as clear as though just inscribed. Mrs. Kirk lost the ring five years after her marriage, and the finder, who was 14 years old at the time, had spent many hours searching for it. The ring was turned up by a drag in the field just behind the house, and it is possible that it had been touched by a plow many times in the more than a half century since it was lost.
