Vice-President At Willow Run: Vice-President Richard Nixon (center), responds to greetings by local Republican officials this morning after his plane lands at Willow Run Airport. At left is Michigan Sen. Homer Ferguson, who will be honored at a testimonial dinner in Detroit tonight. Behind Nixon's right shoulder is Ypsilanti Mayor Carl Scheffler. Ann Arbor's Mayor William E. Brown, jr., is behind and just to the right of Nixon. Others are not identified. Nixon complimented two Ypsilanti high school bands which greeted the vice-president, along with a reception committee of leading area and state Republicans and a large crowd of onlookers.
