Rev. J.point says, some suppose tlint a minister has uothing to do with poli ics, and ought not io go to the polls . It is not so. I owe t to my country to exercise the political power I possess. ï'gotothe polls and vote ,and will do it. Tt U a moral act,and 1 do it because it is a moral act. If I sec a man starving, and wisli t o relieve him, how shull 1 do it? By moralizing ? No, but by gclting some bread, and raising it with my own hand and carrying ii to him. This is one forrn of moral action. A nother form is to give my moner, nnd employ an agent to give ihe bread to the starving man.
