Wiley, Rev. Onsbe of Ann Arbor, MI

Ae 70, died September 4, 1991 at his home following an extended illness. He was born August 3, 1921 in Cottageville, SC, the son of the late Sasportas and Evell Wiley, and the stepson of the late Irene Wiley. On September 17, 1942 he married Carrie Bell Graham in Savannah, GA, and she survives. Rev. Wiley was the Assistant Minister of Platt Rd. Baptist Church. He was dedicated to his church. He was employed with the City of Ann Arbor, retiring in June 1984. Survivors in addition to his wife, include three daughter, Darlene James of Ypsilanti, Sandra Wiley of Ann Arbor, Kimberley Brown of Ann Arbor; and one son, Samuel Wiley of Ann Arbor, two dear, sons-in-law, Charles James, and Arthur Brown; three grandchildren, Latresa, Lisa and Terrell; a sister, Mazell McCants of Charleston, SC; a stepbrother, Lucius Britt of Charleston, SC; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 1991 at 11 a.m. The family hour will be 10 a.m. prior to the funeral at Platt Rd. Baptist CHurch, with Rev. Anthony Robinson officiating. Bural at Washtenong Memorial Park, Ann Arbor. Friends may call at Lucille's Funeral Home beginning Friday at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Shelter Association of Ann Arbor.
