Every day should be Earth Day

Earth Day has come and gone, along with the ttention surrounding it.  But hopefully its impact will be more than that of just another passing media event.  A focus on ecological awareness should be more than a special occasion- it should be a routine part of our lives.

For nearly two decades, People's Food Co-op has made environmental responsiblity a daily priority.  The co-op has emphasized organic and additive-free foods, locally grown, limited processing and packaging, recycling of materials, and other aspects of food consumption that help sustain our planet instead of damaging it.
