Sincere thanks to all who helped co-sponsor, organize, fund and implement our conference: "What to Do about Nine and Two: Organizing to Ensure Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual Rights" (see page one for transcript of speaker Donna Red Wing's remarks). The work of our resource people was a model and inspiration for those who were fortunate enough to attend the conference. Ryan Bradley, Conference Coordinator, gave countless hours to the project, attended to every detail and ensured the success of the undertaking.

We were proud to present a service award at the conference's evening panel discussion to former State Representative Perry Bullard. For nearly a quarter of a century Perry has fought to defeat many bigoted agendas. He has stood for the rights of lesbians, gay men and bisexual people and other groups He has sided with those who are stigmatized for actual or presumed characteristics or for experiences that are found offensive by those who wield power and influence in our society. To Perry, sincere thanks and good wishes. We know that he will continue to work for many causes of human worth and dignity.
