Dohoney, Donald C. Okemos, MI Age 61, died July 4, 1993. Born March 4, 1932 in Columbia KY. Mr. Dohoney was a resident of the area since 1950 and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lansing. He was a 1954 graduae of MSU where he played football under Biggie Munn form 1951-54. He served a Captain of the '54 Rose Bowl team; unanimously voted All American and was an Academic All American; veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving as a pilot. From 1970-78 he was the Mid-Michigan Manager of the Prudential Life Insurance Co., retiring due to disability. Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Suzanne C.; three daughters, Kim (Michael) Gordon of Traverse City, Tammy (Rocky) Proffit of North Carolina, and Pamela Dohoney of Chicago; four beautiful grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole, Eric and Robert; several family members in Kentucky. Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Lansing, Ottawa St. at N. Chestnet, with the Rev. Anna Kay Baker, Associate Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in East Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
