George W. Doane

George W. Doane, 720 Hiscock St., died Wednesday evening at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Ann Arbor, the son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Cochran Doane, and always had resided in Ann Arbor. He has been employed by the Washtenaw county road commission.
He is survived by the widow, Clara Koch Doane, a son, George, and a daughter Luella; a stepfather, Isaac Warner, Ann Arbor; and three stepbrothers, John Warner, Owosso, and William and Ralph Warner, Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel. Rev. H. Edward Sayles will officiate. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call until Sunday morning at the residence.
