Grotto Arranges House Warming

Will Mark Completion Of Club’s Decoration

Zal Gaz Grotto, No. 34, M.O.V.P.E.R., today announced plans for a house warming to be held Wednesday night marking the completion of the redecorating and refurnishing the lodge and social rooms of the Grotto at 111 W. Huron St.

The house warming is open to members and friends. Red upholstered steel chairs were included in the selection of furnishings for the second floor lodge and club room. New table tops remain to be placed.

Varying shades of blue are used the redecoration of the third floor social room which also is used for the formal meetings of the lodge. Tiers of chairs have been placed at one end of the room to add to the facilities for showing motion pictures.

A deep blue was chosen for the lower part of the walls in this room with a lighter blue above the wainscotting and a dawn blue for the ceiling. A deep blue is used to stencil a design bordering the top of the walls. This will be known as the blue room.

Purchase of the furnishings for club room is made possible by funds expected from the Grotto indoor circus which will be given Thursday, Friday and Saturday of at the Masonic temple. Robert B. MacLachlan of 1423 Huron St. is monarch of the
