Mrs. Minna Trojanowski Passes Away After Illness of a Year
Mrs. Minna Trojanowski, wife of Julian R. Trojanowski, died Tuesday evening at the residence at 832 East University Ave., after an illness of a year.
She was born Feb. 23, 1863, in Berlin, Germany. Mrs. Trojanowski came to Ann Arbor in 1887 and in 1890 opened Ann Arbor's first hair dressing establishment which she continued to operate until 1922. She was a member of First Presbyterian church, Order of the Eastern Star and various German societies of the city.
She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. M. J. LaCroix of Chicago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel. Dr. Merle H. Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery, with the Eastern Star in charge of the service at the grave. Friends may call at the Muehlig chapel.
