YPSILANTI - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lucille's Funeral Home, Ypsilanti, for Hilery Neal, 68, of 724 N. Fifth Ave., Ann Arbor, who died Saturday morning at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital, after a long illness.
Mr. Neal was born July 8, 1896, in West Virginia. He was a veteran of World War I and had lived in Ann Arbor for about five years.
Survivors are his wife, Albie of Ann Arbor; five sons, Albert, Isaac, Frederick and Eleck Neal, all of Ann Arbor, and Hilery Neal Jr of Ypsilanti; two sisters, Mrs. Albie Bird and Mrs. Hattie Bird, both of Ann Arbor and Annabelle Bird of Detroit.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lucille's Funeral Home, Ypsilanti, with the Rev. William Daniel of Ypsilanti officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, Ypsilanti. Friends may call at the funeral home.
