Mrs. Ruth Brown Wyman, 70, of 1510 Brooklyn, a member of a pioneer Ann Arbor family, died this morning at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after an illness of several weeks.
She was the daughter of Arthur Brown, one-time mayor of Ann Arbor and founder of the Washtenaw Abstract Co., and Cora Pulcipher Brown.
She taught at Ann Arbor High School before her marriage to George L. Wyman. He died in 1952.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fred Steinhebel of Ann Arbor, Mrs. Don McCready Jr. of Chicago and Mrs. Thomas Lough of Washington, D. C.; eight grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Walter Haller of Ann Arbor.
Mrs. Wyman was a former county president of the King's Daughters and was a member of Alpha Phi.
She was affiliated with the Washtenaw Abstract Co. for a number of years.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
