Tower, Loyal C.
Ann Arbor, MI
Age 59, passed away Sunday, November 24, 1996 in the presence of his family at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Born June 1, 1937 in Curtisville, MI, son of Leon and Caroline Tower. Mr. Tower graduated from Ann Arbor High School in 1956 and was a lifetime resident of Ann Arbor. A member of I.B.P.A.T. local #514. He served on the board of trustees, a member of the Ypsilanti Eagle's #2250, Ann Arbor Moose Lodge #1253, and National Rifle Association. He was a professional painter in the Ann Arbor area for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and walking his dog along the river. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Tower of 29 years; five children, Judy (John) Splitt, Jay (Yvette) Tower, Dana Tower and her husband Mike Kovasckitz, Eva Tower, Jacque Tower; 11 grandchildren, Joseph, James, Gerald, Michelle, Crystal, Brian, Hailey, Hannah, Kyle, Emma, and Ryan; three brothers, Leon, Richard, and Larry Tower; one sister, Ruth Casler; also several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to honor loyal step-father, Alex Leslie. He was preceded in death by two sons, James and David Tower. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 1996, 7 p.m. at the MUEHLIG FUNERAL CHAPEL. The family will receive friends Monday, December 2, 1996 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers tributes may be made to charity of one's choice in memory of Mr. Tower.
