'What do you ask a cord?' said the chap. 'A cord!' replied Madame W. Ycs, I want about a cord. Up in onr diggins the peticoats and ihings has gin out. I see you advertise corded skirts,' and I tho' yhile my hand was in, Fd takc what you hac corded up.' Tho Milliner faiated!
