The friends of Liberty i the Second Con gressional District in Michigan, embracinrr th Counties of Hillsdale, Brancb, St. Josepb t-ass, Berrien, Vn Buren, Kalarnazoo, Cal houn, Jackson, Allegan, Ottawa, Kent on Oceann, will meet in Convention nt Batll Creek, in Calhoun co.,on Wednesday the I2ti oay of June next, at 10 o'cJock Á. M. to make a nomination for a Representntive in Congrëss from said District, to be supported a the ensuing election. Each County will be entitJed to three times the number of delegates to which it h entitled to Representalived to the Staie Leg-islatnre. It is earnestly hoped thai none óf ihe friends of Liborty in any of the Counties in the District wil! dday, in apppointing their accredited deles-ates, and also to secure as large an attendance as possible of other Liberty friendo to attcnd an aljo-day and if need be an all night Convention, lo confer with each other, - stir up to more zeal and effort, and to devise ways and means to doublé the Liberty vote in the District. A Senatorial and a'so County nominating Liberty Convrntion is also expected to be held at the same time and place. Som e speakers from abroad may be expected. Lel all the f rienda in all the towns in the District make timely provisions to embrace so favorable an opportunity to collect and send in money enough to supply each familv in the town with each of the 4 kinds, of Liberty Tracts which can be had at the Convenlion. It will take bnt litlle at the rate of 1000 pages for $1 - or 10 onges tbr I cent.
