Parade float, 1895
Year
1895
Description
Behind the 1895** parade float are the Buchoz block and houses, including Disderide's on the far left. The block was demolished in 1922 for the new Jones school playground.
** Later research has shown that float was indeed for a Cleveland and Thurman campaign rally in Ann Arbor on October 31, 1888. Cleveland was not in town on that occasion.
