Robert Whitney, 64-year-old painter and a lifelong Ann Arbor resident, died last night at his home, 613 S. Fifth Ave., following a brief illness.
The son of Charles and Elizabeth Miller Whitney, he was born here Feb. 13, 1882, and married Grace M. Fuller, Ann Arbor, in September of 1908.
Survivors include the wife, a son, Harold G. Whitney, Tucson, Ariz., and a brother, Charles D. Whitney, Sturgis.
Funeral services will be held at the Muehlig chapel at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon, with Rev. Theodore Schmale officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 4:30 p.m. tomorrow.
