Scio Township Woman Succumbs
Mrs. Carrie B. Middleton, 71, of 3226 Henry Rd., Scio township, died last night at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 7, 1886, in Summerville, O., a daughter of Chris and Minnie Antrum Thomas, and married Alonzo H. Middleton on Nov. 20, 1902. He died Dec. 30, 1953.
The couple came to Ann Arbor 39 years ago.
A daughter, Estella, died on Oct. 16, 1951, in Ann Arbor.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Floyd E. Wing, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Adrian Jones, and four great-grandchildren, all of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Muehlig Chapel, with the Rev. Burlin Main officiating. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial Park.
