YPSILANTI - Word has been received of the sudden death Saturday of Harold Roberson, a native Ypsilantian and former teacher in the Willow Run Public Schools, in San Diego, Calif.
Mr. Roberson, 35, was the youngest child of the late Rev. Garther Roberson, longtime pastor of the Second Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, and Mrs. Estelle Roberson of 669 Armstrong Dr., Ypsilanti. He graduated from Ypsilanti High School and Eastern Michigan University.
He is survived by his wife, the former Glodene Jones of Ypsilanti, and their three children, Joyce, 11, Beverly, 9, and Debra, 7; three brothers, the Rev. S. L. Roberson, pastor of the Metropolitan Memorial Baptist Church; Garther Roberson Jr., of Ypsilanti, and Walter Roberson, of Detroit; and a sister, Evelyn Holbrook of Ypsilanti. Another sister, Garthonia, preceded him in death in 1956.
The family home is located at 5555 Dream St., San Diego, California.
Funeral services and interment will be in San Diego Friday.
