Mrs. Theresa Hoheisel, 81, the widow of Joseph Hoheisel, died early yesterday morning at her home, 441 Hamilton Pl., after a long illness.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1867, in Blunkenheim, Germany, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jeager. She came to Norway, Mich., in 1885 and married Mr. Hoheisel there on June 15, 1889.
They moved to Ann Arbor in 1904. He operated a grocery store here for several years, until his death in 1918.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. John Bateman, of Baton Rouge, Mrs. H. C. Smith, of New York, Miss Amelia Hoheisel, at home, and Mrs. Rolland Weed, of Minneapolis; one son, Frederick Jeager, of Napoleon; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Muehlig Chapel, with Rev. Howard F. Yeager officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
