Bernhardt Henry Landwehr died last Saturday morning after a lingering illness of pernicious anemia, at his home, 121 Kenwood Ave. He was born in Freedom township, April 10, 1871, and lived there until six years ago when he moved to Ann Arbor. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julia Landwehr; two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Ernst of Manchester, Michigan and Miss Ruth Landwehr who resides at home; a son, Leslie Landwehr of Manchester; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Hinderer and Mrs. Lydia Feldkamp of Chelsea. Five grandchildren also survive.
FUneral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery, Freedom township. Rev. C. A. Brauer will officiate.
