Fred Houses To Celebrate Golden Wedding

Former Ann Arborites Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. House will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today with a family party at their home at Pleasant Lake near Jackson.
The couple was wed June 25, 1907, in the Methodist Church in Kalamazoo. Mrs. House, the former Mary E. Snyder, was born in Ann Arbor. Her husband was born in Fulton. The couple came to Ann Arbor in 1924 and later moved to Lansing.
Mr. House traveled for the Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett hardware firm of Chicago.
The couple has two children living here. They are Dr. Frederic B. House and Mrs. J. K. Annis. A second daughter, Mrs. A. J. Decker, lives in St. Louis, Mo. There are eight grandchildren.
