Illness Fatal To Miss Celia Potter

Ypsilanti, July 21. - Miss Celia V. Potter, 74, a resident of Ypsilanti since 1894, died Thursday afternoon at her home, 516 North Hamilton St., where she had resided for many years with her sister, Miss Eunice E. Potter. She had been ill the past three weeks.
Miss Potter was born March 23, 1859, on a farm eight miles east of Ypsilanti, being one of six daughters born to Cyrel C. and Clarinda M. Potter. She resided on that farm until coming to this city 39 years ago.
Surviving besides the sister in Ypsilanti, is another sister, Mrs. Altha A. Comstock, Tacoma, Wash.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the J. E. Moore funeral home here. Services will be in charge of Rev. William R. Shaw, pastor of First Baptist church of this city, of which Miss Potter was a member. Burial will be in the West Tyler St. cemetery, east of Ypsilanti.
