5 From City At Honeywell Annual Meeting

Five representatives of local religious organizations left Tuesday to attend the Honeywell, Inc. stockholders’ meeting today in Minneapolis as part of the effort to persuade Honeywell to stop producing anti-personnel weapons.

Four Ann Arbor churches, and the Interfaith Council for Peace (the local CALC group), have purchased shares of Honeywell stock. They will be represented at the annual meeting by: Rev. Erwin Gaede, First Unitarian Church; Polly Helmke, First Presbyterian Church; Margaret Houseman, St. Aidan's Episcopal Church; William Smith, Lord of Light Lutheran Church; Barbara Fuller, Interfaith Council for Peace.
