The Convention of last Thursday was the most spiriieJ and gratifying of any ever held in the County. More than fifty members were present. and the utmost unanimity and good feeling pre-vaik'd. Aftor the nominations werc compleied, 30IUO cigln or ten gentlemen addressed the meeting on the present gratifying prospects of the Liberty party, the mcasures necessary to its adi'ancement. and the certainty of its ultÃmate snc:ess. It was a cheering lime to all present, and he members separated with a rene wed determiïation to labor for the redempiion of OÃd WasÃenaw.
