Age 65, passed away this morning at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born April 14, 1904 in Koleen, Indiana, the daughter of George and Mollie Ferguson Crabbe. Mrs. Cravens had been a resident of Northfield Township for the past 24 years. On January 26, 1924 she was married to James M. Cravens. Mrs. Cravens was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Ann Arbor, she was President of the Missionary Society of the church and had taught Sunday School for many years. Survivors include: her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Betty Jo) Tyla, Mrs. Paul (Pat) Collings, and Mrs. Edward (Anna) Sawyer, all of Ann Arbor; eight grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Albert Hirth of Maitland, Florida, Mrs. Hazel Gardner of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mrs. Flander Hamlin of South Lyon; two brothers, Samuel Crabbe of Koleen, Indiana and Leland Crabbe of Onarga, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Free Methodist Church in Ann Arbor, with Rev. Wesley Haywood and Rev. Gary Tugan officiating. Burial will follow in Leland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel beginning Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday and from noon Wednesday until the hour of service at the church
