Saline Woman Observes 93rd Year On Earth

Saline Woman Observes 93rd Year on Earth
SALINE – Members of her immediate family did honor to Mrs. Margaret Feeman, Saline, on the occasion of her 93rd birth anniversary Saturday night when they gathered at the home of Mrs. Feeman’s son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Feeman.
Friends and neighbors of Mrs. Feeman Saturday dropped in at her son’s home to extend felicitations and congratulations to the nonagenarian who is still active, does her own mending and likes to read current newspapers and magazines.
Mrs. Feeman, who is living through the fourth war of her lifetime, was born in Lancaster, O., June 13, 1849. Following her marriage to Henry B. Feeman in 1872, she lived in Illinois for 30 years and then moved to Celina, O., where she resided until 1929. Mr. Feeman died in 1923.
When she was 80 years old, Mrs. Feeman went to Adrian to live with her eldest son, Dr. Harlan Feeman, president-emeritus of Adrian College, Adrian. For the past five years she has made her home in Saline.
Mrs. Feeman has two living sons, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
