ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. E.F. HELLNER Mrs. Nona M. Hellner, wife of Edward F. Hellner, member of the Ann Arbor post office staff and local secretary of the Civil Service Commission, died last night at her home at 328 E. Catherine St. She was born Jan. 18, 1886, in Northfield township and was Nona M. Purtell before her marriage to Mr. Hellner July 16, 1919. She was an active member of St. Thomas Catholic church, the Altar society of the church and the ladies auxiliary of postal employees. She leaves her husband, Edward F. Hellner; a daughter, Sally M. and four sons, Edward, Purtell, Robert J., Frederic C., and Joseph P., all at home; and three sisters, Misses Mary and Catherine Purtell of Ann Arbor and Mrs. C.W. Thomas of San Francisco, Calif., the former Sarah Purtell. The Rosary will be said at the residence, 328 Catherine St. at 8 o’clock Sunday night. The funeral mass will be at 9 o’clock Monday morning in St. Thomas Catholic church, leaving the residence at 8:30 a.m. Interment will be made in St. Thomas cemetery.
