Funeral services for Mrs. Zella McConnell, 37, of 1675 Lexington Rd., will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Burkhead Funeral Home in Charlotte, with Rev. George Murback officiating.
Burial will be in Perry Cemetery at Charlotte. Friends may call at the Staffan Hildinger Funeral Home here tonight. The body will be taken to Charlotte Tuesday morning.
Mrs. McConnell was born at Brookfield, near Charlotte, and came to Ann Arbor 10 years ago.
Survivors include her father, Daniel Gettys of Charlotte; three daughters, Millie Mae, Velma, and Jennie, all at home; and a son, Edward Hall, who is serving with the U. S. Army in Tokyo, Japan.
Also surviving are a brother, George, and a sister, Mrs. Wealthy Castor, both of Brookfield.
