Mrs. Reino Hirvela
YPSILANTI – Mrs. Alice M. Hirvela, of 2580 Holmes Rd., wife of Reino A. Hirvela, died in University Hospital at Ann Arbor Saturday night following an extended illness.
She was born on March 17, 1916, in Ludington, Mich., a daughter of Herbert and Myrtle Belleville Parsons. She came here in 1924 to live with her uncle, W. C. Conrad, and the late Mrs. Conrad.
She attended Ypsilanti public schools and graduated from Ypsilanti Central High School in 1934. She was married to Mr. Hirvela on July 17, 1944, in Toledo.
Besides her husband Mrs. Hirvela leaves a son by a previous marriage, Charles Perry Woodward of Ypsilanti.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon at the Geer Funeral Home, Rev. William R. Shaw officiating. Burial will be made in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
